grip and the back of the handle being broken which you can see in the photos.
It would be an easy fix with jb weld or a 2 part epoxy. It is priced to
accordingly to sell! Just click

all also fall in to a fairly narrow serial range. This one is SN 155374

match. The condition is fairly nice with only light staining on the blade
and most of the paint still remaining on the scabbard. The handle also

banner. The fittings are all silver (unhallmarked) and the overall
appearance is breathtaking! This is the highest quality St. Anna
award sword I have seen outside the pictures in the Czar's museum
collections. I will add more details and references at a later
date. It is a classic example of imperial Russian craftsmanship!

A Minty Named Russo
Japanese War Admirals Mounted Sword. The mounts on this sword are
very fine. They still retain most of there original lacquer over the
gilding. The sword blade between the Meiji and Taisho era (1895-1905)
and is a traditionally made sword with a 27" long cutting edge. The
tang is unsigned but the mounts have the name of the admiral engraved at
the base of the handle (were it usually is). The name that is engraved
is Shimasaki, the handle also bears the owners family crest. I have not
done any research on this officer so it has great potential. This
is the finest example I have ever owned of this type of sword.

of these I have owned. The funny thing is that both of them were
this year. Just click on
