A Navy Mounted Minatogawa Shrine Sword By Masatada
A Minatogawa shrine sword by Masatada, one of the founders of the Minatogawa Tanrenjo. The Minatogawa Tanrenjo was founded in December, 1940 by Murakami Michimasa and Moriwaki Kanme. Murakami was given his art name Masatada in July 1941. Swords by Masatada are extremely rare. Masatada left the work at the shrine in 1942 due to illness and died in 1944. This example of his work which resembles a Ko Bizen blade. A great opportunity to own one of these sword at a reasonable price!
