A Very Nice WWII Japanese Navy Mounted Old Family Blade
This is a very nice Shin Shinto (made in the late 19th, early 20th century) katana in minty WWII kai gunto mounts. This samurai sword is in almost full polish with the jigane (grain) and gunome midare hamon (tempering pattern) clearly visible. The sword is probably a Mino school blade. The sword is unsigned because the signature was probably lost due to shortening. It has deluxe navy mounts with a sami saya.
