A Very Rare SS-OA Rhein Trumpet Banner
This Allgemeine-SS trumpet banner for SS- OA Rhein is absolutely stunning. It is black velvet with a heavily bullion embroidered skull and crossbones with SS - OA Rhein (for SS-Oberabschnitt Rhein) embroidered below that. The opposite side is large silver embroidered SS ruins bordered by silver bullion tape. An interesting note is the clips are exactly the same clips used for the tassels of the DEUTSCHLAND ERWACHE Standarte. The Totenkopf on these trumpet banners are hand embroidered and almost always exactly the same with very little variance.
