A Vet Painted WWII German M40 Helmet
A very cool WW2 M40 German Helmet that has been painted by the Vet. This is a nice example of a Vet Art helmet. From the style of art it looks to have been painted in the 1950's. It says "KARL" on the front and the top says "for commercial use only" The helmet has its original liner and draw string and not been altered or damaged at all. The original paint seems perfect under the toned white paint. The white paint comes off when scrapped with your fingernail. The helmet is a Q62 and the lot number is DN360 or DN369.
