A Very Rare WWII German Front Train Eagle
This is one of only a few known front rail road eagles for the WWII German electric trains. The wing span of this bird is 48 inches. The wings sweep back and the eagle is about 15 inches deep. The GI cut the wings off to get the bird home. When he got it home he welded the wings back on. A rare bird indeed! WWII Deutsche Reichsbahn frontadler.
