A Very Nice Shrapnel Damaged WW2 German Rail Road Eagle
This is a really cool WWII German rail road eagle just out of the woodwork. It from the family of the vet who brought it home after the war. Most of the screw posts still remain even thought it was sawed off of the train. The cool thing about this eagle is the shrapnel damage on it which ad to its character. This eagle has a wing span that is 27" long and is maker marked GPH. I have not cleaned it and is the way it was found. A very nice display item for any WWII German collection.
