A nice Jäger zu Pferde pickelhaube. The outer shell appears to have been painted black some time in its early life. The original was also replaced at some time with a Prussian officer plate. It should have a different front plate. The under rim is marked for Jäger zu Pferde Regiment 8. A nice spike helmet at a reasonable price.
