A Salty WWII German M40 Helmet With Bullet Hole

This helmet was obviously being worn when the bullet pierced the right skirt of the shell. You can tell by the dry liner, strap and rust inside the shell. There is remnants of black paint over the factory green paint. The shell is a Q64 and is I think batch number N857. It also still has the original chin strap. A nice starter helmet for the beginning collector!
