A Nice Single Decal M42 SS Helmet
A Waffen-SS single decal M42 helmet. The shell is an EF64 and has the typical EF SS decal. The lot number is 7274. Its interesting the number 5 is backwards and I assume its being used as a 2. The decal iis almost all there. This helmet was obviously taken from a solder who had a head wound which was most likely fatal. The liner is dry and stained with blood and the part of the chin strap that is there is also stained with blood. There is also a bullet dent in the top of the helmet which can me seen in the pics. A nice single decal ss M42 helmet for the money.
