A Late War Imperial Japanese Naval Officers Sword
A nice late war imperial navy officers sword. This is one of the late Kai gunto because the fittings are iron. The saya is the shark skin covered version which was an expensive upgrade. It has a stainless steel blade with the anchor stamp on the tang. There is some scuffing on the blade and one nick by the point. Over all a nice naval katana priced to sell!
